I have been wanting to watch this one for a long time. Al Pacino is a favorite, of course, so there you have it.
Serpico is a great movie, although I have trouble believing there was only one or two good cops in all those police stations, and all the rest were so very, very corrupted.
The most enjoyable part, however, was Al Pacino’s outfits. Hilarious!! I’m sure had I seen Serpico in the 70’s when it came out, they would’ve been “outta site!”.
The ending was so fairy tale and unbelievable as well- Switzerland?!? He spent the rest of his days in Switzerland?!? How did he get there without taking money??? And why didn’t he just move to Texas or California?? Needless to say it was a bit far-fetched.
Frank Serpico is unbelievably good, and his clothes are far out.
